Left.  This memorial was found only after wonderful assistance from the National Archives of Singapore.  It was obscured with a fungus growth. Below. Another memorial preserved by concreting into the boundary wall.

Left and below. Whilst at Kranji Commonwealth War Cemetery we attended a ceremony on Armistice Day where local school children paid their respects and learned a sad history lesson.
